FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND

This hard rock quartet is raging rock band out of Wales, United Kingdom. Led by powerful grundge type lyrics from singer Matt Davies, and incredible powerful heavy guitar lines Funeral for a Friend will be a band to watch for a long time. They just finished their third complete album named "Tales Don't Tell Themselves." It is a very good album and this band keeps getting better and better as they progress. But if you want to here their best music I'd advise buying their second album titled "Hours" it is phenomenal.

I am the avalanche "Green Eyes" Live

Here is green eyes by I am the avalanche from their self titled album.

I AM THE AVALANCHE

This five piece rock band from Brooklyn, New York is taking the hard edge rock scene by storm. Led by former MovieLife singer Vinnie Caruana the band released their self titled album in 2004. The music is extremely energetic and melodic. The music is turbulant and full of awesomely written lyrics and riffs. They sound like Senses Fail, Silverstein and other hard egde rock groups.

The Sleeping live "Loud and Clear"

This is The Sleeping live in Chicago playing their single which also has a music video called loud and clear...very very good.

THE SLEEPING

The Sleeping, a dynamic hard edge rock group that recently signed with Victory Records. Aside from being signed to a larger label The Sleeping is still pretty unrecognized in today's new music scene. Led by a strong powerful vocalist in Doug Robinson and backed by strong riveting guitar licks by Cameron Keym this band has a forceful sound that will win over any listener. If I had to rate their new album which is called "Questions and Answers" it would have to be a ten the instrumentals are absolutely flawless and the lyrics draw the listeners attention immediately, whether Robinson is yelling angrily into his mic or painfully whispering his thoughts. The band is so dynamic and could be compared to others such as Coheed and Cambria, The Used, and Taking back Sunday. They're currently working on a new album which should be out in 2008 but until then I suggest you go buy their latest CD and listen for yourself.
